Q.

What types of courses do you offer?
We offer the 4 hour BDI/TCAC course, the 8 Hour Intermediate course, the 12 hour ADI course, First time Driver Course, and Driver's Permit Online. We offer these courses in various formats (please see front page of the website for more information and select the actual course you are interested in). In generally, we have several different, outstanding online courses which can be completed anytime, anywhere on your computer. These courses combine humor and professional writing that will help you complete them without any hassles or inconveniences. We also offer classroom courses with entertainining instructors at select times and locations. Please call us at 941-462-4030 or check us out online for many scheduled classes and courses. We have the funniest video/DVD ever produced in the State of Florida for our 4 hour BDI/TCAC program, and now are pleased to offer the first booklet course of its kind ever approved in Florida, for the BDI/TCAC. All of our Allstate Driving and Traffic School courses are professionally written, educational, entertaining, and courses that we are proud to offer to you after 30 years in business.
Q. Why go to a Florida Online Traffic School at all?
When you receive a ticket, points are assessed on your driving record as a result. Sometimes, you are ordered to attend traffic school by a court of law. Often, this attendance will prevent the ticket from appearing on your official driving record as points. Some insurance companies even give discounts after you successfully complete a traffic school course. Another reason to attend a traffic school is to become a more responsible driver, lower your chances of being involved in a collision (traffic school is sometimes assigned as part of the penalty associated with drinking and driving), and lower your chances of getting a ticket.
Q. How quickly can I finish this course?
All Florida traffic school courses are designed to take the equivalent amount of time as a traditional in-class traffic school. The great thing about our online and video/DVD courses, however, is that you work at your own pace. No one is sitting over your shoulder making you slow down or speed up. Everyone works at different speeds and these programs will allow you to proceed at your own pace and there is no time maximum for the program. The average completion time varies, however the minimum time is 4 hours.
Q. How long does it take to get the certificate?
The original certificate must be sent directly from our office to you. Normally this process will take anywhere from 5-10 business days, however, expedited mailing processes are available for the mailing of your certificate. Our staff can e-mail you a secure copy of your certificate for a small fee. You can also order a certificate copy to be mailed to you. When you enroll, you may choose for regular mail or expedited service. (Note: in a few instances, some of our courses may have slightly different instructions than these. However, don’t worry for a moment. All information is clearly provided to you during the course). And if you ever have a question, we are here to help!
Q. Does the course cost anything?
Unfortunately, there is a cost to attend traffic school or for any of the courses we offer. Course tuitions vary depending on the program you enroll for, but it will cover all elements of the course including immediate access to the site and the regular processing of you traffic school completion certificate. Regular Florida Traffic Schools charge similar fees. Traffic schools are privately operated businesses and whether you sit in a class or choose an online program, you will need to pay a fee. Our courses are low cost convenient and fun to take.
Q. How can I pay for the course?
You can pay for the course by credit card or by check. After you fill out the registration form, you can be linked to a completely secure payment page where you pay quickly and effortlessly. The site is encrypted to make your on-line purchase safe.
Q. What if my deadline for completion of traffic school (or other course) has passed?
Contact your court for instructions regarding extension of your due date. Our school cannot extend your due date.
Q. How do I register for an internet course?
Registration for this course is quite simple. You can click here (for the 4 hour BDI/TCAC registration) and be taken to the online registration page. Or you can register directly on our home page for any of our other courses. Just complete all the appropriate fields and you can get started right away. You may also call us at 941-462-4030 7 Days a Week from 9AM to 5PM to register. We are glad to help.
Q. Can I use someone else's computer or Internet service for the online course?
That is what makes this course so easy and great! You can take this course from home, work, a friend or family's house, your local library, or you can even rent time on the Internet at a copy/computer center. Whatever computer you use, you simply need Internet access. You can also start on your own computer and then finish on another.
Q. Must I complete the internet course in one sitting?
Our home study internet courses are designed for the person who does not have a lot of time. The courses are broken up into sections and you can log off and then log back on at a later time. For the online courses, the computer will record the section you have completed. You can log on and off as many times as you wish until you complete the program. You can also do the entire course in one sitting... it is up to you.
Q. What if I have no e-mail address?
Do not worry if you do not have an e-mail address, as one is not needed to take our courses. Any correspondence can be directly printed off the program or be done via mail or telephone. On the registration form under e-mail address, simply click on the no e-mail button, if you do not have one. Or you may also use a friend's e-mail address if you wish. Please call us with any questions.
Q. I have already enrolled. How do I get back into the online program?.
If you have already enrolled for the internet course, you have a username and password. You may re-enter those codes on our home page where instructed as many times as necessary to access and complete the program. If you have forgotten or lost your username or password, give us a call at 941-462-4030 during normal business hours. We are here to answer your questions or send us an email at . All emails are usually answered same day during normal business hours within a few hours. If for any reason, we don’t answer your request in a few hours, please give us a call.
Q. I just got knocked off line in the middle of a section. What do I do now?
Internet users are occasionally knocked off line. This may result from a lost Internet connection, another call interrupting your connection if you are on a single line with call waiting, or simply because your own computer crashes. Remember, as you complete each section of the course, your progress is logged. Completion of chapter one, for example, cannot be lost if your answers are submitted to the system and graded on screen. Being knocked off line at that point, will only bring you back to the start of the next chapter, it will not delete chapter one. Our website is unable to control your Internet connection and inactivity on your part will not result in our system knocking you off line. Any activity requirements will be on the part of your Internet service provider.
Q. I use AOL and I keep getting knocked off line. What should I do?
If you are using AOL as your Internet service provider, you will have activity requirements while online. During some of the longer sections requiring more reading, there is a chance AOL will knock you off-line unless you remain interactive with AOL. Do not leave the screen alone for any great length of time.....remain interactive with the screen.
Q. Which browser is recommended for best access to your site?
For best access to our website, we recommend using Internet Explorer. The browser is free and can be downloaded at www.microsoft.com.
Q. Are there any special computer or download requirements to participate in the course?
There are no videos to download in our program and no special requirements at all of your computer. If you are on this screen and on our website, you can typically enroll and complete the course without a problem.
